It’s important to remember that, more often than not, progress is a series of small steps and not a monumental moment of achievement to be unlocked.

The key to continual progress is to maintain consistent action towards a goal. 

Consistent action can look like this:

  • Sit annually for a weekend to plan out your year, reflect on the previous, and recalibrate where your goals and passions lie.
  • Review these goals quarterly to see what’s working, what’s not, and course correct.
  • Take an hour on Sunday to review the previous week, plan for the upcoming, and prioritize 1 or 2 tasks that move the needle forward.

I guarantee that if you start to establish regular time for reflection and check ins, you will see that you are making great strides forward, often at an accelerated pace.

Take a few moments and see if there are 1 or 2 things in there that need to take priority over everything else as it pertains to helping you move the needle forward.
